What ROWKIDS Needs:

Only through the generosity of our contributors can we provide the children the necessary level of education so each child can grow from living in dire poverty without any hope, into a healthy, educated and self-reliant adult.

Please help us help the children of the world, in communities where they live, to break the cycle of poverty and economic exploitation through the improvement of their educational opportunities.

Where Your Contribution Goes:

Financial accountability is a matter of paramount importance at ROWKIDS. We have established stringent accounting and financial reporting procedures to ensure that funds are properly used. When a sponsor makes a contribution, it is deposited directly into the bank. Timely and regular State and Federal bank examinations ensure safety and security.

Funds are transferred to each project field office in accordance with an approved budget. Sponsored children and villages receive the specified benefits and services and members of our organization travel to our projects regularly to conduct on-site reviews of current operations and the use of contributions. Our members spend time interviewing sponsored children and their families and visiting project schools and other facilities to ensure that sponsored children are receiving needed benefits and services.

How Else Can You Get Involved:

ROWKIDS needs volunteers to serve for a week or longer in Belize, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Jamaica and Panama. The costs vary, but are usually $1,500 per person – depending on air fare. Teams go throughout the year and are pretty specific in their tasks so contact us for further details.

We also need help setting up program opportunities for ROWKIDS staff to speak (at dinners, schools, civic clubs, businesses, churches, etc.) about what is happening in the countries where we are working and to explain how educational sponsorships are making a big difference in childrens’ lives!
