ROWKIDS Statement of Faith

ROWKIDS adheres to this statement of faith:

The Bible

We believe in the Holy Scriptures as originally given by God, divinely inspired, infallible, entirely trustworthy.  God has revealed his plan for man in the Bible.  We believe that it can clearly be seen in the Great Commandment (Matthew 28:37-40) and Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) that we have a five-fold purpose in life to reach out to the lost and hurting, connect with one another, grow in our knowledge of and relationship with God, serve others and authentically worship Him through our actions, bringing Him honor and praise in our lives.

God the Father

We believe in an all-knowing, all-powerful, loving God who created the world and all things in it including man who was made to have a unique and personal relationship with God.

Jesus Christ

Because man is unable to save himself, God sent his son, Jesus Christ, to be the savior of the world. He lived a perfect life, born of a virgin, fully God and fully man.

Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit, who dwells in the believer and enabled us to live a holy life, to witness and work for Jesus Christ.

Salvation

Salvation is the act of God where we are rescued from an eternal separation from Him.  He accomplished this through the death of Jesus Christ on the cross where he paid the penalty for our sin.  God accepted Jesus’ sacrifice by raising him from the dead.  This salvation is made real in our lives when we accept by faith of what Jesus has done on our behalf.
